Courier companies — they do more than just deliver!
It’s 2023 — we can get just about anything delivered from our favorite restaurant or store. But what about extra large items? What about someone picking items up from you and bringing them elsewhere? That is where the idea of Bristol County Couriers was born.
Officially opening for business in June 2023, Bristol County Couriers spent the summer learning the delivery needs of the regional economy. We learned that Massachusetts is building. From contractors that need construction materials brought to the jobsite, to homeowners improving their curb appeal with deliveries of landscaping supplies. From Cape Cod to the Berkshires, Massachusetts is building.
We also learned from other business owners how much they value services that save them time. For example, a contractor’s daily trip to the hardware store might lead to sitting in traffic, waiting in line, and then trying to catch up with work due to missed time. It could cost them hours. Everyone’s time is valuable, and most of us would agree we feel like there’s not enough time in the day. Bristol County Couriers has found a way to maximize business owners’ production for their team to succeed.
One of the best ways to grow and sustain our business is by listening to our clients and offering the services they need. This led us to introducing a new service this summer: Bottled Water Delivery. We now offer bottled water available by the case or by the pallet. Solar warehouses, churches, and senior living communities are just a few of the places that benefit from this delivery service. Whether you need a one time delivery, or a company to handle your regional shipments, partnering with a local courier is the solution.
Michael Reed is no stranger to small business. Owning a local painting company for 28 years, he finally found it was time to transition into a new adventure. Michael always loved his line of work and leading a team, but he saw an opportunity to build a business with his daughter and serve the current digitally focused economy. The collaboration of Michael’s business experience and Meghan’s technical skills led to the creation of Bristol County Couriers. As they approach the next year in their business, they will continue to learn and listen to the needs of business owners in the great state of Massachusetts.
