EP 201 with Jill Monson from September 3, 2026
Jill Monson is a trainer, coach, speaker, and founder of POP!more, where she helps individuals and organizations build confidence, strengthen communication, develop power skills, and show up more effectively in work and life.
With more than 30 years of experience spanning sales, marketing, fundraising, community engagement, entrepreneurship, and even a stint as an on-air radio personality, Jill brings a unique mix of real-world experience, relationship building, and practical know-how to her work.
Before launching POP!more, Jill owned Inspired Marketing, an award-winning marketing and event planning firm serving clients across industries ranging from higher education and financial services to hospitality, technology, manufacturing, and home improvement. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Thinking and Innovative Practices from Bay Path University and an undergraduate degree from Westfield State University.
Jill’s work today is deeply influenced by her own story. Her path has included homelessness, domestic abuse, being fired, workplace bullying, an eating disorder, and plenty of other potholes along the way. Rather than allowing those experiences to define what she couldn’t do, Jill came to recognize how much they shaped who she could become.
That realization ultimately inspired POP!more and Jill’s signature concept of CANfidence: the belief that confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t have. It’s something you can actively build.
And Jill’s approach to building it is intentionally different. There’s no fluff, no deep breathing, and no B.S. Instead, she focuses on practical, actionable strategies that help people recognize their strengths, embrace who they are, communicate more effectively, take action even when they’re uncomfortable, and celebrate progress along the way.
Throughout her career, Jill has been recognized with honors including BusinessWest’s 40 Under Forty, the Better Business Bureau Marketplace Ethics Award, an Ad Club of Western Massachusetts Creative Award, and Western Massachusetts Women’s Magazine’s Visionary Achievement Award.
At the heart of everything Jill does is a simple idea: the potholes in our road don’t have to be the end of the story. Sometimes, they help us become a version of ourselves we didn’t yet know was possible.
