Introduce yourself! Who are you and what do you do?
Hi I’m Kelly Martins!
I’m an award-winning entrepreneur, marketing and branding professional, motivational speaker, author, and domestic abuse survivor and advocate. My journey of leaving abuse led me to entrepreneurship and a deep commitment to personal growth, with a mission to help women live with passion, purpose, and peace.
Through my own healing, I discovered grounding practices that help navigate challenges with grace and gratitude. This inspired GRATI—a framework built on five pillars: Gratitude, Reflection, Alignment, Transformation, and Intention—and my signature course, The GRATI Framework, where I guide women to turn challenges into clarity and live in alignment.
Today, I share my story through speaking and workshops to help women feel seen, supported, and empowered to rebuild and rise.
What made you want to start your business?
My entrepreneurial journey started after leaving an abusive relationship. It made me sit back and take a look at where I was and where I was going. From then on, I only wanted to do things that lit me up and that I felt passionate about.
What do you love the most about owning a business in Massachusetts?
I grew up here and love the people in my community. I feel really grateful to be living and growing my businesses here.
What are your favorite small businesses to support in Massachusetts?
I love local coffee shops! Common Grounds in Wilbraham, MA and Ludlow Coffee in Ludlow, MA are local businesses I frequent.
What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
How resilient I am. Owning businesses is hard. It takes a lot of self reflection, a lot of learning, a lot of pivoting.
If you weren’t in your current position, what would your next dream job be?
It is something I am working towards at the moment, but I would love to be a keynote speaker at a women led conference where I can share my story and inspire others.
When you’re not working, what activities do you enjoy?
Spending time with my family, walking my dog, gardening in the summer, and reading.
