BOSTON, MA – Christopher’s Haven, a Boston-based 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to operate a supportive community consisting of fully furnished temporary apartments and a community recreation area for families of children being treated for cancer at nearby hospitals, proudly welcomes Andrea Longo Carter to its Board of Directors. Longo Carter will join Jim Abbott, Bruce Taylor, Michael Aroca, Mike Chase, David Lane, Dr. Kevin Liu, Sebastiano Amara, Emily Whittemore, and Michael Bellody.

Andrea Longo Carter serves as a Family Advisory Leader at Streamline Family Office, where she advises ultra-high-net-worth families on complex financial, operational, and governance matters. In her role, she helps clients navigate the intersection of family dynamics and financial complexity, coordinating across tax, estate planning, philanthropy, investments, risk management, and family enterprise issues. She helps families achieve clarity and develops and executes plans in accordance with their long-term personal and financial goals.

Prior to joining Streamline Family Office, Longo Carter held leadership roles across the nonprofit, public and private sectors, building a reputation as a trusted advisor, strategic problem solver and collaborative leader. She brings deep experience in finance, operations, organizational leadership and stakeholder engagement, along with a longstanding commitment to strengthening communities through volunteer service and civic leadership.

Longo Carter has demonstrated strong dedication to young people and education through her years of public service in Needham, Massachusetts. She has been an elected member of the School Committee and Town Meeting for over a decade, including two terms as School Committee Chair and Vice Chair. Her commitment to helping families and communities thrive closely aligns with Christopher’s Haven’s mission of supporting families during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.
