About Our Speakers

Wanda Colόn-D’Angelo is the Director of Diverse and Small Business Certification Program for the MA Commonwealth’s Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). She has over 30 years of experience in the private and public sector. For the past 20 years she has advocated for minority, women, veteran owned and disadvantaged businesses for equity and inclusion opportunities and currently oversees the SDO certifications for both statewide and out of state businesses.

As SDO Director, she has developed, and implemented policies and procedures to increase opportunities for our diverse community. She has managed and solve complex obstacles in the private and public sectors through consulting clients and training presentations. She also assisted with the integration of the online application process with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Third-Party Organizations such as Women Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and Greater New England Supplier Diversity Minority Council (GNESDMC).

In her free time, she has volunteered in Natal, Brazil at www.valivre.org at a non-profit organization and also for the Chica Project Program (mentoring program for teenage Latinas). Wanda loves Bikram yoga, gardening, paddle boarding with friends and Zoom family gatherings.

Holly Foster joined the Strategic Partnership team at CWE as a Client Experience Coordinator for WBENC New England in July 2023. Her main responsibilities include processing Women Business Enterprise (WBE) applications, meeting with women business owners, and leading bi-monthly virtual seminars.

In May 2023, Holly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Vermont with a BS in Community and International Development and a minor in Psychological Science. While at UVM, she interned with the food program at a non-profit childcare center in Burlington, VT, and served as Treasurer for the UVM Running Club Team for two semesters. Additionally, she participated in a transportation equity research project in the Northeast Kingdom, Vermont, during her senior year under the College of Environmental Engineering.

Holly enjoys running, hiking, and exploring new Vermont creemee stands with her friends. She is excited to begin her career at CWE, working towards women’s economic resiliency and connecting with women business owners throughout New England.
