Each spring, CCYP convenes hundreds of business and nonprofit leaders, elected officials, local employers, and the Cape’s young workforce and up-and-coming leaders for solutions-oriented discussions on the issues that matter most to our region’s future. Join us for a day filled with innovative people, projects, and partnerships focused on building a vibrant and resilient Cape community and ensuring that our current and next generation of year-rounders can live, work, and thrive in our region. Summit sessions are designed to foster creative idea exchange, surface potential solutions, and identify opportunities for action and collaboration across sectors.

We are delighted to welcome our keynote speaker Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities Edward M. Augustus, the first Housing Secretary in the state in more than 30 years. Secretary Augustus leads the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s pro-housing agenda. During his tenure as Worcester City Manager, Augustus helped create thousands of new housing units at all income levels and is a passionate advocate for addressing our state and our region’s housing affordability crisis.

The Salem Chamber of Commerce’s 100th Annual Celebrate Salem Awards Dinner will take place in the beautiful Atrium of the Peabody Essex Museum on the evening of Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
The program of the evening will include the presentation of the “Celebrate Salem Awards” in 7 categories. The process for the nominations and selection of winners is a two phase process. In the first period businesses and people were nominated, after which the Awards Committee selected 6 nominees per category. The second phase of voting, open to both businesses and residents, is taking place currently to select the winners. Voting ends at midnight on March 21st. Click here to vote!
The theme for this year’s dinner is the exhibit, “Our Time on Earth”. Humans are just one species among millions, coexisting in an expansive living network.
