Jonathan Boschen is the General Manager of Frontier Community Access Television (aka FCAT), the PEG access media center and television station for the Western Massachusetts Towns of Conway, Deerfield, Sunderland and Whately. Boschen received his Bachelor of Arts from Curry College majoring in Communications in 2008. In 2011 he completed a one year Digital Video certificate program from the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts in Waltham. His student thesis film was a well received documentary on the history of the Waltham Watch Factory entitled “Waltham’s Watch”. In 2017, Boschen was hired as a Production Assistant at Frontier Community Access Television, and through devotion to his work and rising to the occasion he worked his way up to General Manager in 2022. As General Manager of the station, Boschen not only oversees operations of the station, but also manages programming, the community bulletin boards, and produces local documentaries. Outside of running the station, Boschen is also involved with Toastmasters International, an organization devoted to building public speaking and leadership skills. Most recently he was elected president of his Toastmasters club, and is focused on working with his club to rebuild its membership in the post-pandemic world. Boschen is also a film & theater historian with a focus on vintage movie theaters around Massachusetts, and also American industrial films of the 1930s – 1960s. He has written several articles on these topics and has hosted several presentations on them as well. Today through his work at the Public Access Station, Toastmasters International, and film and theater history projects, Boschen is devoted to helping others succeed in creating successful videos and A/V presentations.
