Introduce yourself! Who are you and what do you do at your Chamber of Commerce?

Hi! I am Cathy Regensburger. I own Selections Boutique in Sudbury. I have been involved as a member of the Chamber for many years and currently I serve as a board member of the Chamber.

What made you want to work for the Chamber of Commerce?

I have been involved with chambers throughout my various careers as I have found them to be great havens that support individual owners and business entrepreneurs.

What do you love the most about the area where you live in Massachusetts?

I love that I live and work in a gorgeous suburb of Boston with easy access to both the Boston and Worcester areas for great food, culture, business and more.

Why do you think it’s important for everyone to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce?

The more varied members we have, the more supportive we can be to one another. I was raised to support the independent stores, and the more we can do that, the more interesting and productive our worlds are! I just moved my business location and was thrilled to use Chamber members for carpet installation, painting and more!

What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?

You can be in charge of your success if you take initiative, the time to learn and follow through…and have the confidence to ask for the decision…the SALE!

If you weren’t in your current position, what would your next dream job be?

As I am in my dream job which is my encore career, I have been able to have dream jobs all along the way by showing whoever I work with that my skills don’t necessitate a time clock so that I could raise my children, take care of my home and be successful.

When you’re not working, what activities do you enjoy?

Socializing with friends, reading, walking, working out and recently becoming a grandmother!
