Chamber Camaraderie: Marshfield Chamber of Commerce’s 1st Women Owned Business Expo

March 11, 2024  |

The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first-ever Women-Owned Business Expo at RT3 Stages, a state-of-the-art production center located in Marshfield, on Saturday, April 6th from 11 am – 5 pm! Presented by South Shore Home, Life & Style, this event is also sponsored by Get in Shape for Women Marshfield, JLJ Spiritual Healing, Kaizen Norwell, Le Joli Visage – Joli Medical Spa Marshfield – Kristen MacNeil, RN, Melissa J. Pond LLC, and Moi Health and Wellness.

Selling out of all 50 vendor spots within a matter of days, this expo is sure to be an engaging, informative, and empowering day dedicated to sharing all of the amazing female businesses that Marshfield and the South Shore are lucky enough to have in their backyard.

Vendors include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Food and drink options
  • Local makers and crafts
  • Professional services (photography, business support, marketing, and more)
  • Beauty, health, and wellness businesses
  • Gifts and clothing
  • Nonprofits

And more. There are sure to be plenty of options for all to enjoy!

“Marshfield and the South Shore are home to so many amazing women-owned businesses, many of which are service-based or don’t have a brick and mortar storefront. I know, because I am one!” says Jessica Ponyrko, owner of Anchor Watch Marketing and Vice President of the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce. “Our hope in offering this expo was to provide support for those businesses. As a Chamber of Commerce, we fully subscribe to the mantra ‘a rising tide lifts all boats.’ We’re always striving to not only meet the needs of our businesses, but also to support their growth, because when small businesses do well, the community thrives. The Women Owned Business Expo is a great way for us to do all of those things.”

Of course, this event will provide an incredible amount of value and awareness to local businesses.

“This expo will be a great opportunity for the vendors, businesses and nonprofits involved to expand their reach, and hopefully get a boost during what is typically a slower time of year in a region of the state that tends to be very seasonal,” says Ponyrko. “We’ve seen a lot of buzz about the event, and we really anticipate a great turnout. We also hope to truly provide a COMMUNITY for female entrepreneurs, where they can connect with one another, get support from the Chamber of Commerce, and continue to grow.”

However, attendees will also really enjoy the event, and there’s no limit to how many people can head to the expo!

“Empowered women empower women, and I know that first and foremost, attendees will feel great about supporting the diverse group of businesses we’ll have there on April 6th,” explains Ponyrko. “It’s going to be a really fun day filled with awesome food and drinks, local makers and artisans, health and wellness specialists, business services, photo booths and headshots, and even a cool lounge to relax and soak up all the positivity! Admission is free and open to women AND men, and we encourage anyone who is looking to support their local community and small businesses to stop by!”

If you’re available on Saturday, April 6th and local to the South Shore, head on down to the Women-Owned Business Expo — you’ll be glad you did.
