Introduce yourself! Who are you and what do you do at your Chamber of Commerce?

I’m Radu Luca, Executive Director of the Provincetown Chamber of Commerce.

What made you want to work for the Chamber of Commerce?

I have a Masters Degree in Strategic Tourism Management with a focus on Destination Marketing and Promotion as well as Municipal experience working for the Towns of Provincetown and Wellfleet.

What do you love the most about the area where you live in Massachusetts?

The community, the ocean and the beaches.

Why do you think it’s important for everyone to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce?

There is strength in numbers and it takes a village; your local chamber supports you and its members and the more members the stronger the chamber.

What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?

You can’t please everyone.

If you weren’t in your current position, what would your next dream job be?

State or National Park Ranger!

When you’re not working, what activities do you enjoy?

Traveling, hiking, cooking, dining, spending time with family and friends.
