Introducing Angel Behr Energy Medicine – Keeping You Balanced

July 1, 2026  |

You might remember Angelina from another blog post we posted a handful of years ago all about her books and content writing. And while she’s still doing all that, she’s since gotten married, changed her name, and started a whole new business. What excites her most about it, is that this new business has some great energy to it — energy medicine, that is.

What Sparked My Interest in Energy Work

After remembering that I had a long-standing interest in muscle testing and kinesiology since I was freed from debilitating sleep apnea by it as a child, I realized that I wanted a career a bit more personally fulfilling than just content writing (even though I’m still more than happy to take writing clients under my original name Angelina Singer). In fact, I even wrote my high school senior symposium about energy medicine. A colleague at the BioMed Center in Providence, RI was kind enough to point me towards the Eden Method — a rapidly-growing certification curriculum built all around the revolutionary teachings of Donna Eden.

Donna is the kind of person that lights up a room when she enters it, and her story reflects her joy and excitement about life, because she managed to recover from a myriad of terminal health conditions through monitoring and shifting her own body’s subtle energies. While I was so grateful to briefly get to chat with Donna over zoom at my final certification class in Arizona this past January, I still hope to meet her in person at another conference someday. Donna has changed countless lives with her wellness techniques. To learn more about Donna Eden’s story, you can visit the Eden Method website here.

What is Energy Medicine?

Energy medicine is a broad category of healing techniques that involve moving and addressing the subtle energy flows in the body. An example you might be familiar with is acupressure or acupuncture, involving energy flows in the meridian system (which is like blood vessels, but for energy). I myself have learned how to do acupressure — which means no needles are needed, only mindful touch. This very simple but intricately-designed method of using touch and the magnetism in your hands to move energy is what this modality is built off of. While we don’t always use acupressure points, there’s usually some form of consensual and respectful touch to get things moving.

Muscle testing is also a big part of what I do — although my instructors prefer to call it “energy testing,” since it’s all about the energy flowing through that muscle, unlike an arm wrestling match that’s all about strength. This is the part that closely mirrors the kinesiology I learned from my time being assessed by Dr. Mark Mincolla, when I was struggling with sleep apnea back in the day. The techniques can vary, but the mechanics are largely the same — when an indicator muscle goes weak, that tells us something more is needed to make it strong again.

I also have studied the aura with its bands and layers, as well as the systems that live inside the aura, like chakras — just to name one that you would probably recognize.

Why You’ll Love Energy Medicine

It changes your life from the inside out — starting with your morning routine. In fact, Donna Eden has designed a super easy Daily Energy Routine that will get your energies moving smoothly so you can feel your best all day long. More recently, I’ve been planning to teach an informal class all about the Daily Energy Routine, because it’s an awesome “gateway” into feeling the difference that working with your own subtle energies makes.

If you struggle with fatigue, brain fog, or any other common inconveniences, the Daily Energy Routine exercises will help you find your stride again. It’s super quick, and while it’s marketed as 5 minutes, you might find that these exercises are so helpful, you’ll want to take your time even if it’s closer to 10 minutes daily.

What I’m Doing with Energy Medicine Now

Now I’m an Eden Energy Medicine Certified Practitioner (EEM-CP) setting up shop in various places in both northern and southern Massachusetts, offering energy balancing sessions to anyone who might be interested in them. I’m really excited to share this work with people and help them feel their best. While some people have been so kind to share that they felt I had a “healing touch” or something to that effect, I like to hold more of the attitude that everything you need to heal is already in you. I cannot legally “diagnose” or “treat” anything; rather, this work is all about bringing balance to the body’s energy systems. All I do is help your body realign its energies to make wellness your new reality. Energy work is not a substitute for regular medical attention when it is needed, but it can often support those processes. If you’d like to read more about me and what people are saying about my sessions, you can visit my new energy medicine website here.

I’m so grateful for all the things I’ve learned from my amazing instructors, as well as the work that Donna Eden contributed to the holistic realm of health and wellness. If any of this interests you, I would be more than happy to connect anytime to chat more about this work and my new venture with it.
