John Page, Executive Director of the Amherst Business Improvement District, is a lifelong Amherst area local with deep ties to the community. Before taking the reins at the BID, he helped lead major events at UMass Amherst and previously worked with the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce on economic development and tourism initiatives. He’s passionate about building a vibrant downtown, supporting small businesses, and creating inclusive community experiences. John’s also active in local civic life, from organizing LGBTQ+ Pride events in Amherst to serving on the Pelham Cultural Council and Amherst Education Foundation board which support educator-driven projects in the area public schools.
